CBT’ has been providing a free tutoring service at Chase Park for three years. We are committed to the growth, development, and strengthen of the community at Chase Park in Ravenswood. Chase Park is tremendously involved in the community through after-school programs, an outdoor pool in the summer, and various sport leagues for all ages during all times of the year. It also supports the arts with plays produced by the community theater group.

This year, in hopes of rebuilding the playground, the Ravenswood community is launching a new festival, the Raven. The Raven will occur on August 16th and 17th. CBT is one of the sponsors of the event and we are looking to make this the signature community centric event in Chicago. The festival will include local restaurants, local artisans and vendors, as well as neighborhood non-profits with two stages of live music all weekend long. Activities for kids will also include pony rides, inflatables, a kids stage, and much more.

If you are interested in volunteering with us, it would be a tremendous help. We have a great opportunity to directly aid and serve the community while networking with other community members. Another chance to further our mission might be volunteering to work directly with a high school student during your volunteer session.
